Snaps of the Season xo

Merry Christmas! I wanted to share some of the pictures I took throughout the holiday.
(I must confess, I am so, SO sad it's almost over.)

Wrapping, baking, cooking, celebrating, shopping, decorating, caroling.....here is what some of Christmas looks like from my camera.

What is the holiday season without a New York City Christmas? For obvious reasons, Manhattan in December is one of my favorite things in the world. My husband and I enjoy going to Bryant Park in the Summer and in the Winter. I haven't been there in two years so it felt amazing to get back for 2014.

And I had to stop in Anthropologie Rockefeller Center for more obvious reasons.... lol

Some Christmas home decor .....

Yep, that's my faux fireplace! I love it!

I enjoy taking my time and wrapping a pretty package when I present a gift to someone because I do believe it's ALL about the presentation! I'm a wrap star! ;)

My friends and I had a cocktail party for our holiday Secret Santa and I volunteered to host. Everyone cooked and baked goodies and yummies! It was a very festive and enjoyable time with some of my most favorite people!

I made Christmas Bark for one of the desserts. It should be called Christmas Crack!
I needed it out of my house as soon as possible!

"Snow" (Sugar rimmed) glasses with frozen cranberry drink stirrers.

Bacon wrapped pineapple bites with brown sugar. I'm totally making these again for sure!

I think it's funny that I had the nerve to indulge in everyone's awesome food and down it with a Coke zero. lol
Thank you Heidi, Clascy, Rhonda, Corinne and Diana for cooking and helping me make our party awesome! Can't wait to do it again next year!

(I got these metallic polka dot plates from Homegoods last Winter.)

Don't forget the cinnamon when sipping your egg nog!

Mini hot chocolate bar.
I got these Snowflake Mugs from Crate and Barrel two years ago. I regret not getting the matching plates.....but I smell a clearance sale coming soon.....

My friend Rhonda is an incredible baker. I always say I should open a bakery with her.
My position is still being determined. Decorate the bakery? lol
ANYWAY - she was kind enough to go all out and make a bunch of beautiful and delicious mini trifles and parfaits.

Rhonda got me in the Secret Santa and this was her pretty package for me!!
She knows me so well! xo

And what started out as two gifts under the tree has turned into a sea of treasures for family and friends.

I hope we are all blessed to receive something we wished for but everyone knows the very best and most important things in life and not found under a tree.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! God bless us everyone!

Lots of Love and Christmas Sparkle,

V.V.
