I happened to brunch with the girls - one of my favorite things. At least once every Summer, we try to get together at Vetro by Russo's on the Bay (I got married here so it holds a special place in my heart <3). It's just so beautiful - you sit outside on the water, the decor is fabulous, the menu is delicious and the company is even better! For any NY locals who have never been, I highly suggest it. It's just a guaranteed great time.
Now, understand - brunch is for girlfriends and catching up, having a cocktail midday and retreating from the grind for sure....but more importantly....brunch means getting dressed, honey!
Especially when you go to Vetro. Although my friends might say I use EVERY excuse to get dressed (guilty!), when you brunch with your favorite boos you make it extra glamorous, you know what I'm sayin'? ;-)
I actually had an entirely different outfit in mind for today and stumbled on this dress by accident if you will. I went into LOFT to return a top and on my way out, it brushed my hand and said
"Hey girl - you need me! AND I'm 40% off!" to which I answered with the swipe of my card!
